Siera had a specific vision when it came to opening Desert Strands for clients and stylists. She wanted stylists to have a space to create, grow, and inspire. Also, for clients to feel welcomed as soon as they walk through the doors and know they are exactly where they are supposed to be. She wants clients to come for the luxury experience and stay for the chill vibes.
Siera wants Desert Strands to always feel like a place to escape whether it’s to sit down and receive a relaxing service with a drink in hand, or to catch up with their favorite hairstylist.

Siera is all about giving each and every client that sits in her chair an experience that’s unforgettable and to create a look that’s always custom to a client’s wants and desires. Siera specializes in blonding, lived in colors and hand tied extensions. She always stays on top of her continuing education, so she can continue to perfect her craft in order to give clients the result they are looking for.
In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her husband, her baby boy Gray and her 3 doggies. They love to enjoy the Reno/Tahoe area as much as they can and explore everything this beautiful town has to offer. Siera is also a big foodie and you can catch her enjoying Reno’s food scene on the weekends. She has a big passion for traveling and immersing herself into new cultures and enjoys getting to do those kinds of things with her little family.

Julianna believes to achieve the feeling of ultimate confidence, it all starts with hair. She has learned to create a luxury color that suits each individual’s lifestyle.
Juli trained under Siera straight out of school in a one year assistant program and continues to take education to perfect her work. She specializes in major transformation, from brunettes to bright blondes.

Megan has been a hairstylist for 6+ years. Specializing in blonding, lived in color, and hand tied extensions. One of her favorite things about doing hair is the friendships and good conversations she experiences with her clients. In Megans free time, she likes to spend her time with her husband Cooper, and her many pets. She has a dog named Maple, two feisty cats and some chickens!

Britanny Suzanne is an extroverted introvert with a deep fascination for the human mind and a soft spot for the human heart. Much of her free time is spent eating tasty food, soaking up the fresh air and being present her with sweet babes.
Behind the chair she strives to bring confidence to every single one of her clients, specializing in multiple forms of extensions and lived in color. Constantly staying up to date with continued education, she is always working to perfect her craft and to provide clients with a completely luxury experience

When I’m not behind the chair, you can find me enjoying the outdoors—hiking, snowboarding, watching sunrises & sunsets or spending time with my three pups: two sweet pit bulls and a wild Frenchie. I’m also happily married, and I love to share my time with friends and family!

Lindsay is an easy going hairstylist who cant wait to help you fall in love with your hair. Color and extensions are her areas of specialty as well as improving hair health. Lindsay is known for really listening to what her clients want and having some fun while doing it. Education has always been a priority for this 18 year professional and will always continue to practice and perfect her craft.
Lindsay has a family and 2 cute pups at home. She loves hiking and has been on many of the trails around Tahoe. She approaches her life with joy and has never met a beach she didn’t love.

She has been working behind the chair for 10+ years and never stopped loving her work and mastering her craft. Elizabeth takes pride in each and every one of her clients that sit in her chair. The best part about giving clients pretty hair is when they leave feeling better than when they came in!
